If you prefer to consume your training via video, then you can get the video version here:

However, if you prefer reading, then here’s the writtern version of this training…

Step 1. Download Mozbar Chrome Extension

The first thing we need to do is to download Mozbar extension for Chrome browser.

So obviously, you’ll need to use Chrome browser in conjunction with this method.

Anyway, you can download Mozbar extension for free here:

https://moz.com/products/pro/seo-toolbar

Once you’ve downloaded & installed Mozbar Chrome extension, you’re ready for the next step.

Step 2. Check Domain Authority of your Site using Mozbar Chrome Extension

The next step is to find out what the domain authority of your site is.

The easiest way is to simply use the Mozbar Chrome extension itself.

So visit your site & you should be able to see the domain authority of your site here:

Once you've downloaded and installed Mozbar Chrome Extension, you can use it to check the authority of your website you want to send backlinks to.

Once you’ve downloaded and installed Mozbar Chrome Extension, you can use it to check the authority of your website you want to send the high authority dofollow backlinks to.

Once you’ve got your domain authority, then make a note of it so you don’t forget it.

Why is it Important to Know your Site’s Domain Authority?

The reason why you need to know the domain authority for your site is simple…

To grow your site’s authority, you need links from sites with a higher authority level than yours.

You can get links from sites with lower authority than yours, but they won’t be as beneficial.

As a result, it’ll take a lot longer to build your domain authority & it’ll be harder to rank as well.

So if you see a site with a lower domain authority than yours while using this method, skip it.

Anyway, once you’ve done that, you’re ready for the next step…

The first step is to use the following search phrase in Google search.

This is the search phrase:

    • KEYWORD “CommentLuv” “recently posted”

Now where it says “KEYWORD”, use a keyword related to the post you want to rank.

So for example, if your post is about dog training, so you could change it to…

    • Dog training “CommentLuv” “recently posted”
    • How to train my dog “CommentLuv” “recently posted”
    • Dog training guide “CommentLuv” “recently posted”

…Or anything else closely related to your post.

Anyway, once you’ve changed the keyword, paste the search phrase into Google.

So what’s Happening Here?

Basically, Google has fetched all the sites in your niche using a specific WordPress plugin.

This plugin is called CommentLuv & it allows us to post a backlink to your site onto their site.

Now looking at the search results, you should see Mozbar under every result displaying data:

When using Mozbar Chrome extension, additional information will appear telling you the domain authority of each site in the Google search results.

When using Mozbar Chrome extension, additional information will appear telling you the domain authority of each site in the Google search results.

Starting from the top, visit the first site in the search results with a higher authority than yours.

What we do then is to scroll down to the comment section…

From there, you should see comments & a phrase below each one saying saying the following:

    • [NAME] recently posted.. [LINK TO SITE]

Here’s a screen grab to give you a better example of what I mean:

When visiting the site, we need to check the comment section to see if we can drop a dofollow backlink. Thankfully, this is very easy when using Mozbar Chrome extension...

When visiting the site, we need to check the comment section to see if we can drop a dofollow backlink. Thankfully, this is very easy when using Mozbar Chrome extension…

We then head to Mozbar, click on the “highlighter/pen” icon then click on “No-Follow” like so:

Use the highlighter in Mozbar Chrome extension to highlight all the nofollow backlink on the webpage.

Use the highlighter in Mozbar Chrome extension to find out if you can get an high authority dofollow backlink for free by highlighting all the nofollow backlinks.

When you do this, Mozbar will highlight all the nofollow backlinks pink on that page.

Now if the links below the comments are highlighted in pink, then it’s a waste of time posting:

If Mozbar Chrome extension highlights the link, that means it's not a dofollow link.

If Mozbar Chrome extension highlights the link, that means it’s not a dofollow backlink and you’ll get zero SEO benefit from posting a backlink on that site.

This is because the backlink will be a nofollow and you’ll get zero SEO benefit from it.

If the link isn’t highlighted though, then it’s a dofollow link & you should definitely post your link.

However, Don’t Post Your Comment and Backlink Just Yet…

Instead, save the URL to the website to Notepad as we’ll be coming back to it later.

Once you’ve saved the URL to Notepad, head back to the Google search results again.

From there, rinse and repeat this step until you’ve built a big list of sites to comment on.

Now most people would have told you to post a comment then your backlink and that’s it.

However, there’s a simple way you can further enhance link juice you get from these sites.

The best part is that it’s quick, easy and completely free to implement too.

Here’s how to do it anyway….

The first thing we need to do is to head back to Moz website:

https://moz.com

If you haven’t done so already, create a free account first.

Once you’ve logged into your Moz account, go to “Moz Pro” then “Link Explorer”:

Head back to Moz.com and create a free Moz account. From there, head to the Moz Pro section and click on "Link Explorer".

Head back to Moz.com and create a free Moz account. From there, head to the Moz Pro section and click on “Link Explorer”.

Then paste the first website from your Notepad and press the “Analyse” button:

Paste in the website you want to get a high authority backlink from and click "Analyze".

Paste in the website you want to get a high authority dofollow backlink from and click “Analyze”.

Moz will then bring up a load of SEO related metrics regarding that site.

What you need to do is to head over to the side panel and click on “Top Pages”:

Click on "Top Pages" when in the Overview section of Moz Link Explorer.

Click on “Top Pages” when in the Overview section of Moz Link Explorer.

On this page, Moz will show you all the pages they’ve found for this website.

What we need to do then is to find the most authoritative page on this site.

This is because the more authoritative the page, the more powerful the backlink on it will be.

So to find the most authoritative pages, we simply sort by clicking the “PA (Page Authority)” tab:

When analysing the all the pages of the site you want to get a high authority dofollow link from, make sure to sort by PA "Page Authority".

When analysing the all the pages of the site you want to get a high authority dofollow backlink from, make sure to sort by PA “Page Authority”.

Obviously, this will bring all the pages with the highest page authority to the top of the list.

We now need to find a high authority page that is related to the page you want to link to.

This because getting backlinks from pages that are related to yours will result in better rankings.

So if the page doesn’t cover the same topic to the page you want to link to, then simply skip it.

Keep doing this until you find a page with a high PA that relates to the post you want to link to.

Once you’ve found a page that fits those two criteria, then visit the page.

You then post your comment and link then choose which page on your site you want to link to:

Just waste in your website's URL into the box, leave a comment related to the post and that's how you get a high authority dofollow backlink for free using Mozbar Chrome extension :-)

Just paste in your website’s URL into the “Website” box, leave a comment related to the post… And that’s how you get a high authority dofollow backlink for free using Mozbar Chrome extension and Moz Pro Link Explorer 🙂

Another thing – make sure you post decent comments related to the post.

Saying things like “Nice post” and similar comments like that won’t get approved, unfortunately.

So read the article & genuinely participate in the conversation.

This way, you won’t look like a spammer and your comment will get approved every time.

So What’s Next?

All you do then is move onto the next site in your Notepad.

Run it through Moz Pro again to find a related page with the highest page authority.

Then post a comment with a backlink to your site like before.

You can then rinse & repeat the method until you appear on the first page for your keyword.

…It’s really that simple.

Just keep in mind, Moz will only allow you to use their Link Explorer 10 per month.

If you need to use Moz’s Link Explorer more than that, you’ll need a paid subscription.

Anyway, That’s How to Get High Authority Dofollow backlinks For FREE using Mozbar Chrome Extension 🙂
