So if you remember, in last training, we covered how to do keyword research for our niche site.

How to Find High Demand Low Competition Products

In this training you’ll see how to find & examine products to see how profitable they’ll be when you promote them.

Today, I’ll be showing you how to find your first product to promote.

Now if you want to maximise profits, you have to be very selective on the offer you promote.

Otherwise, the product could convert poorly – or worse – not at all.

And there’s nothing worse than driving tons of traffic to an offer and not making a single sale.

Trust me, I know, I’ve been there and it’s soul-destroying.

So today, you’ll see how to find high demand products with low competition that sell like crazy.

Plus, you’ll make big, juicy commissions if you promote these type of products too 🙂

This training will assume you already know which market you’re going into.

How to Find HIGH Converting Affiliate Products to Sell & Promote Online For BIG Profits [PART 6]

Once you’ve found a profitable product to promote, you can start the next module here:

If, however, you prefer reading, then here’s the text version of this training…

Step 1. How to Find the Most Profitable Segment Of Your Market

The first thing we need to do is to identify the most profitable segment of your market.

If we target the wrong segment or go too “niche”, then we’ll reduce the money we can make.

So here’s 2 groups within your market your product must cater to for maximum profitability…

>> The Beginner Crowd:

Without a doubt, the most active and largest segment of your market is the beginners.

Reason being, beginners go on a buying frenzy when they first enter a market.

They’re full of enthusiasm and eager to buy everything they need to reach their goal.

Take bodybuilding for example…

When someone starts to take an interest in bodybuilding, they normally buy:

    • Training manuals and programs
    • weight training equipment
    • Protein shakes & bodybuilding supplements
    • Gym memberships
    • Personal trainers

And not only can this add up in the thousands, but they can also spend it very quickly too.

In fact, the more enthusiastic they are, the quicker and more they’ll generally spend.

Now on the flip side, compare this to someone who’s been bodybuilding for a while…

They’ve already got the memberships and the equipment they need.

And not only, but they’re not actively looking for it either.

Also, with beginners, they’re a lot less knowledgable on the subject too.

This means they’re easier to impress compared to more experienced people in your market.

The end result is that beginners want to be marketed to & are easier to sell to as well.

>> Desperate People:

How to Find High Demand Low Competing Products

Desperate people are much more likely to take action, and spend a lot more on their solution too.

Not every market has them, but if yours does, then you should definitely market to them.

Here’s why…

There’s no one more motivated getting a solution to their problem than desperate people.

And not only that, but they’re willing to spend a lot more than other segment in your market.

Some of the main desperate markets are:

    • Make money online
    • Get your ex back
    • Penis dysfunction
    • Male pattern boldness

Now you’re probably thinking you’re not in a desperate market, but that may not be true.

Once again, take bodybuilding for example…

Nobody’s in dire need to buy some dumbells and protein shakes right now, are they.

However, what if we target teenage boys who are insecure about their bodies?

We would then find an offer that relates to the exact problems they’re going through right now.

The sales page would need to relate to their issues like how hard it is to bulk up at that age etc.

It would also talk about how women are only attracted to muscular men and not skinny wimps.

Once their insecurities has took a pounding, it’s only then the solution would be introduced.

Can you see how we’re marketing to their insecurities? Well that’s what you need to do as well.

So when searching for a product to promote, look for sales letters that tick these boxes.

As in, they relate to your prospect’s insecurities.

When you do this, your conversions will go up & you’ll see an increase in sales as a result.

Step 2. Picking the Best Affiliate Network for your Market

The next thing we need to do is to go to the affiliate network best suited to your market,

If you’re promoting MMO and anything internet marketing, then I’d say these are best networks:

    • Warriorplus.com
    • JVZoo.com

Another one worth checking out is Clickbank…

However, Clickbank isn’t as dedicated to MMO products as the other two, I’d say.

Still, it’s worth checking out if you couldn’t find what you’re looking for from the other two.

So if you’re seeking to sell affiliate offers around the following:

    • Make money online training
    • affiliate & traffic courses
    • WordPress plugins
    • SEO courses & software

…Then Warriorplus and JZVoo is your best bet in my opinion.

If you’re entering a non MMO related market, then my 1st choice would be Clickbank.

When I say “non MMO” by the way, I mean the following markets:

    • weight loss
    • Cooking
    • Pet training
    • Fishing
    • Gambling
    • Seduction
    • Getting your ex back
    • Anything “computer” related
    • DIY how-to courses
    • Gardening
    • Anything “sport” related
    • Dieting
    • Bodybuilding

…So if it’s one of these markets, then I would recommend Clickbank to start with.

Step 3. How to Find the Most Profitable Affiliate Offer To Promote

You now know which affiliate network that caters best for your particular market.

We now need to find a product to promote from our chosen affiliate network.

So what I’ve done is broken it down into 3 criteria you must look for when choosing an offer.

When you find a sales page that ticks all 3 boxes, save it to Notepad.

Then by the time you’ve completed this step, you should have a list of products to promote.

Lets begin…

>> Promote a Low Cost Product Over an Expensive One

When starting out, I always recommend promoting a low priced product.

Why? For the simple reason they’re just a lot easier to sell than expensive ones.

So if you are new to this, I recommend promoting a product no higher than $50.

Any higher than that and it’s going to require a smarter marketing campaign behind it.

And if you haven’t go the skillset to do that, then you’re going to struggle.

So start with low cost product and this will reward you with quick and easy sales.

As you build up your skillset, you can then consider promoting more expensive ones

>> Is The Sales Copy Any Good?

Whether it’s video, written or a hybrid, does it do a good job convincing you to invest?

If so, that’s a good indicator the offer should convert to your market.

Also, make sure it appeals to ‘beginners’ and ‘desperates’ like I mentioned above.

If you’re not sure how to spot a good sales letter, I have some free training on this.

It’s a copywriting tutorial but you can use it to help you find a good sales letter as well.

You can check it out here if you’re interested.

>> Is There Lots of Proof Elements on the Sales Page?

People are always sceptical so proof elements are essential for high conversions.

Also, the bigger the claim, the more proof elements the sales page will need too.

So look for sales pages with lots of proof elements when researching products to promote.

Here’s what some proof elements may look like:

    • Testimonials – the more the better (video testimonials have more creditability)
    • Income proofs – video has more creditability than image income proofs
    • Screenshots of Facebook comments from happy customers
    • Images of customers getting the desire outcome promised in the product

Just remember…

Proof elements come in many shapes and forms and some are more creditable than others.

But generally, the more proof elements a sales page has, the more likely it’ll convert.

>> Does It Have Good Reviews?

How to Find High Demand Low Competition affiliate Products

Reviews in Google can make or break a product’s conversion rate, so make sure to check the reviews before promoting them.

Reviews are absolutely pivotal for good conversions and sales.

In fact, the better the reviews are, the higher the conversions will be.

Conversely, on the flip side, the worse the reviews are, the lower the product will convert.

So don’t underestimate reviews – it can literally make or break a product’s conversion rate.

To check reviews, look up reviews on Google for the product you’re interested in promoting.

All you have to do is a Google search for “[PRODUCT NAME] Reviews” and that’s it.

If the reviews range from good to great, then I’d say the product is a keeper.

If, however, the reviews are bad, then don’t waste your time as it’ll convert poorly for you.

Step 4. How To Improve Sales & Conversions with No Additional Selling

I thought I’d throw this step in as a bonus.

It won’t show you how to find high converting products but it will help to boost your profits.

Plus, you won’t have to do any additional selling to see this increase in income either.

Here they are anyway…

>> Upsells and OTOs (One Time Offers)

When searching for products to promote, see if there is any upsells attached to the product.

Upsell are basically additional products offered when someone purchases the main product.

If so, this can double, triple and even quadruple sales.

This may sound hyperbolic but this is very much possible if the upsells are marketed correctly.

I’ve sold products for $10 but ended up making over $400 per customer due to upsells.

>> Services and Recurring Commissions

Another way to increase your bottomline with no additional selling is promoting services.

Services are basically products you pay a monthly fee to access, like Netflix for example.

You, as an affiliate, would then receive a commission per month until they unsubscribe.

What’s good about this is that people can stay subscribed for years, decades even.

I’ve promoted services & I still get paid from people who signed up from years ago.

Coming back to the Netflix example again, I’ve had a subscription for nearly 10 years myself.

So people will stay subscribed just as long as they need and/or like the service.

It’s also a great way of making a reliable income, even when you’re going through a try spell.

That’s Everything You Need to Know on How to Find High Demand Products with Low Competition
